Originally, a long time ago, in my long-term partnership, when FB started, my then-partner called me a "sick rabbit", which is a word play in Polish, referring to antics and games, jokes and tons of laughter on my part.
I then entered this nickname on FB, and before I knew it, everyone around me picked up "rabbit" and started calling me that.
The rabbit, in the form: kroolik, is still used today. But it is not everything! Some years after that relationship, when I moved to the center of Warsaw and wanted to have a pet, she appeared on Facebook: a white rabbit looking for a home, glowing in the sun in the photo.
She had to be at my place!
It turned out to be a rabbit rescued from breeding for meat and fur, due to its unique character. Albertyna, because that was her name, was a rebel, she jumped on other rabbits, she stood out so much that she was the first to leave the breeding farm, and thus avoided a quick death.
Albertyna is a truly unique rabbit. Wise, she listened to me, she was offended, and initially before sterilization she also tried to dominate me.
She was with me at the festival, we went to the plot, we went outside, and the dog owners were yelling at me for the reactions of their aggressive dogs.
Unfortunately, fate made me decide to move to England and with a great heartache I had to give up Albertyna.
These previous rabbit stories, and the love for strawberries, and another private reason in the new partnership, created the Strawberry Rabbit motif, which appears as one of the Faghi Nixie brand motifs, as the culmination of these stories of my life.
This motif is the only one that will be reflected in my work from the beginning to the end of my life.
